Maserati Levante Interior Review

An 8.4-inch infotainment screen serves as the central hub for the Levante, controlling most vehicle functions, including climate controls. It also features a voice-activated virtual assistant and standard navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The heated leather steering wheel has controls for volume, phone, and various dashboard functions. The analog instrument cluster has a digital center display for drive modes, navigation, and customizable driving settings. The Levanti offers different stereo system options, ranging from an eight-speaker setup to a 17-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system. Additionally, it has dual climate controls, a wireless charging pad, and USB ports. In the center console, you have the drive mode selection buttons, ride height adjustment, traction control, and more, as well as the selection wheel for the infotainment screen.

Levante seating and interior options

The Levante seating is absolutely luxurious, with beautifully crafted leather. It comes standard with 12-way driver and 8-way passenger heated and ventilated sport seats, which are also adorned with the iconic Maserati trident. The rest of the interior is equally posh, offering a wide range of customization options. You can choose not only the color but also the type of leather and Alcantara, stitching color, pattern, and even secondary materials like wood, piano black, or carbon fiber trim pieces. With thousands of color and material combinations available, you can truly create a unique and personalized interior for your Levante.

Levante Cargo Space

Trunk space in the Levante is above average for a luxury crossover SUV, at 20.5 cubic feet behind the back row. With the rear seats flipped down, the space goes up to 57.4 cubic feet. This provides ample space for most basic needs.

Maserati Levante Design

The Levante's grille embodies the classic Maserati style, featuring vertical lines and the iconic Trident logo. The optional full-led adaptive matrix headlights seamlessly blend into the upper line of the grille, accompanied by integrated daytime running lights. Below, there are three large grilles that form the lower valance and provide cooling for the intercoolers of the turbocharged V6 and V8 engines. Additionally, they cool the optional oversized Brembo brakes. The Levante showcases high-arching front fenders with signature louvers, resembling the GranTourismo's wide body appearance. The swept-back roof line extends the front end and positions the wheels at the corners of the chassis, enhancing the Levante's handling and sporty look. Moving towards the rear, you'll notice the boomerang-shaped taillights on the wide body rear quarters. The liftgate is adorned with a roof spoiler and a third brake light. Completing the rear design is the dual exhaust, available with either blacked-out or chrome tips.

Levante Wheels

The Levante comes with either 20 or 21-inch rims for the current model year. The GT Modena and Modena S all come standard with 20-inch rims. The Trofeo is upgraded to 21-inch rims. There is a total of five different styles available for the Levante.

Engine Options

Maserati has equipped the Levante with powerful engines across its different trims. The GT and Modena models feature a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering either 345 or 424 horsepower. For even more performance, the Modena S and Trofeo trims boast a 3.8L twin turbo V8 engine. These trims also come with sporty twin air intakes, throttle bodies, and a Ferrari red dual intake manifold topped with a carbon fiber engine cover and signature chrome Trident. The Modena S offers an impressive 523 horsepower, while the Trofeo takes it up a notch with 572 horsepower. Accelerating from zero to 60 mph in under 4 seconds, the Levante can reach a top speed of over 180 mph. To handle all this power and maintain a balanced weight distribution, Maserati has incorporated an advanced active air suspension system that can adjust the Levante's height by 3 inches. Additionally, the intelligent all-wheel drive system ensures optimal traction in various driving conditions.
